Safety Guidelines Active as of August 2020

During the pandemic, for our customer and employee safety we will be using the following guidelines in accordance with the city of Atlanta and state of Georgia.

  • Social Distancing
  • Masks/Face Coverings unless medically exempt.
  • Plexiglass barriers at service counters.
  • Declination of invitation to anyone showing virus symptoms.
  • We will have free safety glasses on-hand for those who do not wear glasses. (Viruses are most commonly airborne and come in through tear ducts from others coughing and/or touching your eyes. Additionally, viruses come in through cuts and open skin. Free band aids and tape are available at the service desk.)

Exposure to COVID-19 is an inherent risk in any public location where people are present. The Scott Antique Markets and Atlanta Exposition Centers cannot guarantee that you will not be exposed to COVID-19 during your visit. The CDC advises that older adults and people of any age who have serious underlying medical conditions might be at higher risk for severe illness. By coming to the Atlanta Exposition Centers, you acknowledge and agree that you assume this inherent risk.

Requirements to wear a mask or face shield has been mandated by the City of Atlanta.

The molecular biology departments of several universities teach, along with Dr. Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergies and Infectious Diseases, that viruses are most commonly transmitted airborne and enter through our tear ducts or open skin.

The Atlanta Exposition Centers reserve the right to decline anyone who has symptoms of any virus. Four thousand safety glasses are available free for attendees whom do not wear glasses and face masks are available for purchase should you need one.
