Once named Terminus because it was strategically
located, Atlanta remains the natural crossroads for the country. Accessible to all by
way of superior air, train, and highway
systems, Atlanta Expo Center is a mere 5 minutes drive from the world's busiest airport, Hartsfield
International. Surrounded by a forest of pines, yet conveniently located, Atlanta Expo Center offers a perfect
exhibition facility with acres of
parking spaces located right on the grounds, Southern hospitality, a fine selection of
nearby hotels, year-round southern cuisine, good weather...
and the attractions of Atlanta, a stone throw
from our door. The Atlanta Expo Center is home to the Scott Antique Market on the second
weekend of each month.
Exhibitor displays span a combined 366,000 square feet between the two mammoth
air-conditioned/heated
adjacent facilities. But, it doesn't stop there. Outside exhibitor booths surround both facilities
hosting an additional 500 spaces. These
spaces often times host such merchandise as architectural items, early
iron fence, park benches, fountains and architectural decorative iron.
Buyers and dealers from all over the
world emerge upon these cavernous facilities for a profitable and intense buying experience. both
facilities encompass a wide
array of antiques ranging from furniture, expensive smalls, decorator items, jewelry, silver, china and much,
much
more! Generally, there are three types of dealers doing business. First, a dealer looking to sell wholesale
to the trade with fresh merchandise
every month; secondly, a dealer selling primarily to the designer trade, the
dealer who focuses on specific items for the general public. In short,
it has
become a place for these individuals to build their family's heirlooms, inventory for shops, auctions, and for internet vendors.
